I’m personally more concerned with the cinematographer. Luis Cuadrado was going blind as he was working on the film. I wonder how he must have felt?
Cuadrado apparently committed suicide in 1980. Having seen his sensitivity and talent with light and shadow, I suspect it was because of his blindness and it saddens me immensely to think that might have been why.
